Mental Health and Wellbeing 2022-2023

Statement of Intent 2021-2022

Across the Addmore Federation, we are committed to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our students, their families, staff and governors.

We pride ourselves on being an inclusive, nurturing and supportive federation. We encourage students to be honest and respectful and we want each student to have their voice heard. At school, we recognise that everybody faces their own worries and challenges in life and at times individuals may find it hard to cope. At Addmore we don’t wish students and staff to face these challenges alone. We understand that every once in a while emotional support is needed. Mental health is everyone’s responsibility at our school and we all have a role to play in supporting one another.

Our opportunities for learning and the behaviours we encourage promote healthy postive mindset and aim to devlop and support strategies for resilience and positive outcomes for all.

By considering student and staff wellbeing in all aspects of our school life, a positive healthy environment can be created that improves student engagement, performance and achievement which in turn gives everyone the opportunity to develop and achieve their full potential.
