Our Week - W/C 14th February 2022

What a fantastic last week we have had here in Reception. This week we have had lots of wonderful valentines provision out in the classroom for the children to explore. We have also been talking about the tradition behind St Valentines Day from Rome. The children have enjoyed exploring our Valentines tuff trays linked to small world, sensory, Literacy, Maths and Phonics.

This week the children have finished off their independent write for 'Lets All Creek Through Crocodile Creek' the children mapped out the story in order and have used their phonics knowledge to write their own sentences and captions to match parts of the story. I am really proud of all the children's independent writing this week. Well done Class 1.

We were lucky enough to have Ray come in this week to talk to us all about road safety and the importance of keeping safe whilst crossing the road.
