Nursery W/C 6th June

Welcome back everyone!

We are having a wonderful first week back in Nursery.

We started this half-term with a whole school party to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee and our school turning 150 years old.

Thank you to everyone who was able to join us.

In maths this week we have been exploring numerals 1-5 in the gloop (Cornflour and water) and practicing our counting skills with buckets and spades in the sand.

We have been exploring our beach cafe role-play area- making and selling icecreams, creating price lists and dressing up in our parlour.

In our funky fingers area we have been decorating crowns with buttons and jewls to help develop our fine motor skills.

Our new Pathways to write story is, 'The Sea-Saw', which the children have shown excitement and great interest in so far.

In Forest school this week we created repeating patterns using daisies, pine cones, sticks, leaves and bottle tops.

Best wishes, Mrs Butler and Mrs Arblaster.
