Nursery W/C 31st October 2022

Welcome back to nursery everyone!

What a wonderful week we are having so far.

We have been marble painting to create firework pictures, chalk drawing fireworks on the playground and using brushes and sticks to create blue, glittery patterns in the coloured sand.

We explored pumpkins and many children seemed to enjoy using their senses to explore the texture of the seeds and pumpkin flesh.

In literacy this week we have begun our new topic book, 'I'm going to eat this ant'. To support the children with their learning we have created a bug restaurant. The children have been creating menu cards and offering meals such as, 'Worm spaghetti' and 'slugs on toast'. Our children have made paper chain vines to hang up in our restaurant, this was a fun activity with lots of interaction. Well done Ercall!
