Ercall W/C 8th April

We have had a wonderful week in nursery exploring the literacy topic 'Monster clothes'.

We have been pairing patterned socks and counting pants in maths following the Kate Burton planning scheme.

Outside we collected lots of leaves and began counting them using one- to-one correspondence. 

Our sound of the week is, 'l', we have been learning words which begin with this sound such as, 'lollipop', 'leaf' and 'lemon'.

Together we made lemon scented playdough to help develop our fine motor skills.

Next week we will begin our new literacy topic, 'Gigantosaurus' so we have been busy making dinosaur eggs with the children.
