Ercall w/c 5th February

We have had a wonderful half-term in nursery!

This week we have been celebrating Chinese new year, tasting foods, painting chinese symbols and mark making with chopsticks. Our role-play area is a Chinese restaurant and the children have engaged well, taking on different responsibilities within their games.

We have explored a tuff tray full of red coloured objects, we have played with sea creatures in the water tray and we have explored red gloop with mark-making materials. 

During maths we went on a 'heart' hunt and created cards for Valentines Day.

On Wednesday we enjoyed decorating and tasting pancakes, thank you to our PTA!

We have been on a few listening walks this week, we heard tractors, birds and explored the forest school area.
