Ercall W/C 26th February

This week in nursery we have begun our new literacy topic, 'The pirates are coming'.

The children have been matching coloured fish and we have used fine motor skills to collect coins from the cereal/mud tray.

We have been counting boats in the water tray and also exploring sea creatures.

Our sound of the week is 'r' so the children have been learning words which begin with this initial sound such as: rice, rabbit, rainbow and rocket.

We created pirate masks, cup phones and painted daffodils this week too!
