Ercall W/C 19th February

We have enjoyed a wonderful first week back after half-term.

This week our literacy topic book was 'Car, car, truck, jeep' so our children have enjoyed building trucks with modelling materials, exploring vehicles in cereal and painting with trucks- creating marks with the wheels.

Our sound of the week was 'u', together we have been learning initial sounds in words such as, 'upset, under and umbrella'.

We have built a boat in our role-play area and the children have been singing, 'A sailor went to sea, sea, sea' and 'Row, row, row your boat'.

Well done Nursery, a super week!
