Ercall W/C 15th January

In nursery this week we have been developing our fine motor skills through creating playdough snowmen.

During our literacy topic 'We're going to find the monster' we drew maps in our topic books and used descriptive language to explain where we have been.

Together we used modelling materials to create boats to sail on the 'shimmering ocean'.

We created outdoor dens which developed our imaginary play ideas and we all helped each other.

Our phonics sound of the week is 'd' so the children have been exploring initial sounds. We have also been focussing upon alliteration, using our names to create sentences such as, 'Davids dangerous dinosaur'.
