Nursery W/C 9th May 2022

We all seem to be enjoying our week in nursery.

We have had a wonderful time exploring our dinosaur swamp this week.

During our maths sessions we have been linking numerals 1 and 2 to the same amount of dinosaurs, using 2D shapes to create repeating patterns and categorising objects according to their colour.

In literacy this week we have been linking musical instruments to our Gigantosaurus story.

We all created our very own version of a Gigantosaurus which can be seen in our topic books.

We all took part in drawing a 'self-portrait' too- well done nursery there was alot of descriptive language used!

In nursery we are exploring the 'blending and segmenting' of simple words- the children seem to be enjoying 'having a go' themselves- well done everyone!
